Intuniv for Asperger's / emotional meltdowns/ violent thoughts?

So my 12 year old sister is borderline asperger's and has horrible emotional meltdowns, and drastic/violent thoughts. She already takes abilify and prozac, and was just prescribed intuniv. Does anyone have experience with this medication?
