I have a eye Question.?

A lot of things can cause an eye infection, especially if you have contacts. If you do, take them out and start wearing gles till it clears up. You are going to need eye drops for the infection, so I don't know what to tell you if you can't see a doctor. You have to change your mascara and eyeliner every 3 months at least. If it is the same eye and the last infection wasn't long ago, it could be that you didn't finish off your eye drops. Sometimes it can look like it has cleared up but if you don't finish off the drops it can come back even worse.

My 3 month old son's child care facility gave me someone else's baby bottle!!!! I've been paying very close attention to what our leaders are saying about the problems facing our country and what they plan to do about it. All of our politicians make elaborate speeches and big promises about how they plan to fix the coming energy crisis or the economy, and they make speeches and promises about how they plan to fix the nation's education system and get rid of the corruption in government. So, as I am really young (19), I was really pumped up by this last presidential election, and even though I was too young to vote, I was feeling empowered to make positive change. But, after taking the time to learn about previous elections - not just presidential elections but ALL kinds of elections and policy decisions - I have become very, very cynical about the entire political process. So many of the problems facing us now could have been prevented. Candidates from the 60's and 70's campaigned heavily on issues such as "ending our addiction to oil" or addressing problems with our education system, but these are STILL major issues today. I mean, just to name another example:Our intelligence agencies are saying that we are suffering from a severe shortage of cyber-security personnel. How could they not see this coming?! This is serious. My point is that if we cannot rely on the people we put in charge to have the political guts to actually solve problems - to actually choose progress over getting reelected - then what can we do? I know that I can vote, but it seems like only the candidates with the most money win, and we all know that they are not always the best people for the job. If the OD and reverse are both selected (that is, both are engaged) at the same time the transmission will lock up and blow up when power is applied. Car manufactures go through a lot of trouble putting in safe guards to prevent this from happening. That is why the OD shuts off when the transmission is put into reverse.

I am a 20 yr old college kid living in Alabama. Ive snowboarded usually once or twice year since I was a little kid but it has always been a family trip. Me and My Husband has been ttc for quite a bit with no luck. What would be great, is if your families had a pack n play laying around from their children or any baby items that they wouldn't mind you using while you are at their homes. Laptop charger burst into flames?

So I was preparing a little skype session and had my laptop sitting off to one side, not yet connected to the AC adapter. Now this adapter in the past say three days had part of the rubber peel back at one end, as will many slightly used cords, and so I wrapped it heavily in electrical tape merely to prevent further exposure. After connecting the adapter to it's socket component and plugging it in, the adapter began smoking and, subsequently, the socket component cord burst into flame. Now I've not even had this adapter yet a year, and I bought it (cheaply, I might add, which may be an issue) as a replacement to my stock Dell adapter which came with the laptop and has had intermittent connectivity issues, requiring a certain tweaking and placement to transfer charge to the laptop. The burnt AC Adapter in question is PA-1900-02D, and I wanted to ask you fine folks of Yahoo Answers what the best course of action in terms of either replacement or new adapter would be.

He has big soft curls and usually all I use is conditioning baby shampoo, a tiny bit of kids conditioner and comb with a widetooth detangling comb and then run my fingers through the curls. I only wash it every 2 or 3 days so when I comb it in the mornings I first spray it with soft & precious detangler/sheen spray (its really light) then comb and let dry. Short DnD campaign ideas?

I do my campaigns Fable style, as in my players literally get to have a hometown that they return to after each mission and get to eventually form relationships with the town locals and even get married and have families. I need ideas for campaigns that would take anywhere from a day to a month to accomplish (in game time) the main plot is the king of Valor is being mind controlled and the prince is vacated out of the castle (by a sorcerer too weak to go against a necromancer, a summoner and a juggernaut. The 3 of them are actually the main bad guys, amongst many demonic and draconic minions that were banished from this plan 50 years ago) and left in the care of the pcs "employer". That plot isn't going to happen til midway thru the campaign. I have 5 other towns that are in depth, a town that honors animals, a "contact" of the employers that smuggle goods, a town that deals with making potions, one that is technologically advance (they are high sorcerers that create refrigerates, alarm clocks and other things to add a little goofiness to it all, such as how Final Fantasy has gotten to be... but without guns and cars) and an artifact collector. I need mini missions to get them to the main story line. I am open to any ideas that either involve those scenarios or I can fit it in possibly in some other town.

I have been the target of an internet scam from a woman in the Ukraine asking for money. Any help?

Everything started as an online dating communication. After several e-mails going back and forth, the woman in question claims she is in love with me and would like to see me as soon as possible. Then, she asked me for money to take care of her visa, and medical insurance because her salary does not allow her to pay for it. At this point, I became a little suspicious... I did some research and sure enough, there is a huge scam going on where some Ukraine woman target men in Canada and the US. The person I was communicating with is waiting for my reply about the money, and I would like to get authorities involved to help catch these people. Beware though, the scammers even go a step further by posing as detectives that will help you catch the scammers for a fee. Any suggestions?

Dog biopsy help?

Bob is right. I am uming that your dog is losing hair and is scratching alot, causing open sores (lesions) . If they did a biopsy, I am puzzled as to why they didnt culture it??? I brown bag my lunch everyday & starting this week began cutting my turkey sandwich diagonally instead of horizontally (which I have for years). Something seems different with the sandwich cut diagonally. I can't quite pinpoint it but feel I'm getting less of a sandwich cutting it diagonally. I'm beginning to think the angle in which the knife is inserted to cut the sandwich somehow absorbs or erodes its contents. Has anyone else noticed this? Reporting police officers! in TX! help?

well im 16 and have had 2 officers recently yell at me and tell me to shut up while making angry suggestive hand movements, along with a bunch of pointing and name calling. (i was reported as a runaway)i am home now and had another officer come to my house, i answered the door and he promptly began to yell and tell my mother that he would "be glad and come right over if my mom decides to beat the crap out of me." i was wondering if they are allowed to say things like that, along with telling me to shut up and vulgar language used. is there anything i can do, petition against certain officers, or anything? Are clicking save after your changes in every mp3 file? Because if you don't you will see the "project" in editors but you can't see them in players. I use Mp3tag and it works fine to me.

I'm in the same boat right now. I've got McGahee, Earnest Graham, and Steven Jackson. I'm thinking I'm gonna sit McGahee out this one just until he PROVES he's healthy. Baby with possible asthma?

That is a good possibility. My sons dr thinks he may have asthma, but we can't quite pinpoint anything (we are stay at home so we don't really have much to compare too). We do have an inside cat and an outside dog. If you do decide to put the animals outside or take them elsewhere it could still take quite a bit of time for all the stuff to clear out so it's not necessarily going to help overnight. I believe it takes about 6 months for everything to clear out after having no pets.

Oil painting question?

I received a large canvas to do a painting on. The canvas however had been damaged, not really damaged but stained. Apparently a raccoon had taken a dump on it. I knocked off the feces as best I could and used bleach at first, but then my art teacher told me that was too harsh of a chemical to use. So later on I took sponges and mixed water with detergent and cleaned the whole canvas down very well. I let it dry and then I decided to stain it with a burgundy color oil paint, so that I wouldn't be working on a blank white canvas. I mixed up the paint, very thin. I put it on the canvas and it dried quick. But in the places where the turd stain was, the paint turned black. On the front it seems grey, but if you look around back its like a deep black. I don't know what caused this. How can I fix it?

The front door and the side door have huge puddles after the bottom step which you practically have to hurdle to get to your car and the gr has huge puddles in it as well whenever it rains or snows. I recently went down cellar and stood in front of my washer and dryer. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like they are sloping towards the right, which, if outside, would be the front of the building. I need to find out why this guy I have been seeing wants but only wants to be a monogamous friend?

I have been seeing a guy I met on personals since November 2006. He made it clear to me he wanted a monogamous friendship but he also wants to be intimate as well. I have a bad problem and need you guys help about where i'm living!!!?

I moved to this rental home on March 15th this year,so i have only been here 1 month.I paid my rent and deposit(not being cheap i might add)when i signed the lease...the "Property mang."told me she would fix things,quickly...like our inground pool(it looked like a black swamp),also we did not know the garage leaked (huge like a workshop)well 7days after we moved in...there came the rain and all my kids things and all our family pictures(not replaceable runied). I called her,she said i should have renters insurance...i just was fully moved in by the 17th of march.She was rude.Then i waited two weeks on my fridge and stove.....finally got it after muti-calls. My stuff gone,i have 5 kids,im a 33 year old mom and very upset at this matter.The heat downstairs didnt work either and said she would fix it...but nothing has been done,that was when it was colder,now the air units dont work! I finally got tired and called the health dept. on her and code enforcement as well.They did not take it lightly.They took pictures and served her papers.Then she had a two of her workers here draining my pool,it smelled horrible,and looked worse! That was this last Thursday...well they left there things in my back yard and never came back,i called and looked up the real home owner(he lives in cali.)he said he gets her to deal with the problems and he also knew i called code on them for the property not being taken care of...so he was mad.But shouldn't i be the mad person here,i mean my kids can't do nothing,no pool(big hole in the ground now)and little backyard.I went to move some jugs the so called pool guys left on the premises out of the way from my dogs and small children,well when i went to move those...it was dark outside and i didnt know the lid was not screwed on and it was acid....it poured down my left arm like a waterfall,i inhaled fumes...couldnt breathe right,felt dizzy...called 911 and fire dept. and ambulance came...they kept pouring bags of soultion on my arm,i got acid burns..this was the night of the 12th....so i had to go to the hospital,have oxygen and be in the intensive care burn unit,stayed two days...was released,told to leave my whole left arm bandaged til my appt.follow-up in 7 days.Well while that took place,my husband was home with our kids(we have no family here)there was a letter in the mail telling me i had 10days to move out because my dogs done all this damage inside and out of the home.If i didn't leave in 10 days...she would have me put out!!! Really,i took pictures of this property when i moved in,i also have code enforcement to back those pictures and more up.Plus my dogs are on the lease...and have not bothered anything at this home.That's adding insult to injury.There are 7 in my family total,my next rent is not due til the 5th of May,she said she would give me my deposit back...and wants me out May 1st.What is she crazy!!!! I'm sitting here in pain and she feeds me a load of crap/it's hot as all get out in the house now.I found this house on Craigslist,and it stated pool/huge garage included(I MEAN I PAYING FULL RENT WITHOUT ANY EXTRAS).Oh also she sent with her other little two page letter...something that looks bogus,with a Memphis Police seal,it's copied.Saying i was barred from the premises where i have to pay my rent.I always paid her there in cash and got a print out recepit with her signing it.Also the same letter has written on it,that it was hand delivered(NOT),put in my mail box and also under the hand deliver it says a copy was sent out VIA US CERTIFIED MAILwith a tracking #...but i looked up the tracking # online and does not exist.Please help with some answers,it's hard to just pick up and move again and pay another 2,400.00 first months rent and deposit.Plus it cost 50.00 just to turn the lights on and i just had all my custom cable installed. How does a simpleton like me survive in this world geared for success?

Im 23 and still dont know what to do with my life. I havent gone to college after high school, partly because Ive met lots of people who have and cant break into their field, and partly because Im just not that interested in the courses. The world today is so driven by success, what you do for a living almost defines who you are, and in this world im a nobody. I dont want lots of money or a great career, I want a simple life, and enough to make a living for me and my girlfriend. My brother is going to college, vice president of the student council, and currently starting up the first fraternity in Canada. Chances of being pregnant?

Okay... This is embarring, but I'm worried about it. My husband and I are newlyweds, and we didn't have premarital . He got a vasectomy over a year ago, but hasn't gotten his sperm tested yet to make sure he is now infertile. We decided to have anyway, and he pulled out on time and didn't in me at all. We've only had the one time because he has either been gone because of his work, or I've been sick or on my period. The timing has sucked for us... Anyway, I do NOT want to ever, ever, ever have kids. That would be one of my worst nightmares! I haven't been having any weird symptoms, and we had about a week ago. My period is due to start around the 12th. I got some pregnancy tests, but it's still too early to use them. I was wondering, though, is there much of a chance that he might have gotten me pregnant?

Hello, I have a teacup yorkie and she is 3 years old. She is turning 4 this year in August. I have a concern. She has two lumps on her lower belly almost near her ual part. They are sort of "squishy." She has also been sleeping A LOT lately and scabs appear on her skin out of no where. They usually appear on her side next to her front legs or on her chest/belly but I have cleaned those and they haven't grown back. Please answer because it is an emergency. I wanna lose about 50 pounds in like, 5 months?

Now do I really have to go on a certain diet to do this, im 16. I tried the lo carb diet for a day and it looks impossible, everything has carbs in it, even soup. So im wondering if i can just, you know, make a lifetime eating change (my only problem eating is eating late since i stay up a lot playing xbox with my friends, i tend to munch on some snacks like chips or something) but i plan on stopping that. As for my excersise, i play so much basketball, it should be illegal, im starting p90x, and i longboard. i dont drink soda, i drink a lot of water and diet nestea iced tea ( so good ). With this regular eating less diet and my exercise, can i achieve this, like is it possible, or do i need to go on some special diet. keep in mind i cant really control what dinners i have, my mom usually cooks a lot of rice with like spinich and stuff. chicken usually. but can i get this weight loss with just eating less and my exercise. Weight training for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

My Personal belief is that weight training will help any athletes, just as long as you still do alot of stretching to keep your body limber and FLEXIBLE, i have been weight training for 30 years and have 11 years of bjj, it has helped mme tremendously. i train 4 days a week on weights and cardio and 3 days of bjj. Basic compound movements work best as they train the major muscle groups and a few isolation exercises such as wrist curls for your forearms, side laterals for shoulders. It all depends on what your individual goal is. dead lifts are a great overall strength builder.

Which is better a cello, a violin, a viola or a guitar?

None of these is better than the other...they all have their ups and downs. Cellos sound amazing and really provide the base in an orchestra (while still having really pretty melodies and all), violins are fun and light-hearted, violas (in my opinion) sound absolutely GORGEOUS, and guitars are really versatile. Ask different people, and you'll get different answers. My personal favorite is the viola. =]
