Would a GRE preparation course help with the MCAT?

There's a free GRE preparation workshop in conjunction with a research internship I'm applying to, and I was trying to decide whether to dedicate the extra time to attend the free workshops. I'm really not interested in taking the GRE test, but if it ultimately helps with the MCATs, then I'll put in the extra effort. Thanks in advance for all your responses!
