Why did my Kenmore Freezer suddenly stop working?

Is it new? Call Sears. If not, there's not much that can go wrong with a chest freezer other than the compressor or a coolant (freon) leak. If it's the compressor, you will be money ahead to buy a new freezer. A technician can locate and fix a coolant leak.
