What is a good LIGHT moisturizer I can use in my sons biracial (Af. Am. and Cauc.) hair?

He has big soft curls and usually all I use is conditioning baby shampoo, a tiny bit of kids conditioner and comb with a widetooth detangling comb and then run my fingers through the curls. I only wash it every 2 or 3 days so when I comb it in the mornings I first spray it with soft & precious detangler/sheen spray (its really light) then comb and let dry. Over the last couple of days the weather has been strange and his hair seems dry and a little frizzy, what is a good moisturizer to use for a 1 year old BESIDES pink oil? That is way too heavy for his hair. His hair needs more moisture than my caucasion hair but is too close to my texture for a heavy moisturizer. I am just not too familiar with all the brands/ products and I don't want to have to buy everything to find something right for his hair so any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks
