After Divorce, you have no responsibilities to your ex-husband. According to Hindu system, a son has his responsibilities of doing rituals as he had his thread ceremony. But, in my opinion you or your son need not do any kriyas to the deseased soul. Soul has its own capacity to stay in peace without the help of the living ones. You also may live in peace.
