How does a simpleton like me survive in this world geared for success?

Im 23 and still dont know what to do with my life. I havent gone to college after high school, partly because Ive met lots of people who have and cant break into their field, and partly because Im just not that interested in the courses. The world today is so driven by success, what you do for a living almost defines who you are, and in this world im a nobody. I dont want lots of money or a great career, I want a simple life, and enough to make a living for me and my girlfriend. My brother is going to college, vice president of the student council, and currently starting up the first fraternity in Canada. I almost feel like my family looks down on me for not being a go getter like him. Can anyone relate?
