Does Santa bring your kids gifts that may be on their list, but not entirely 'practical'?

For example, my daughter just go a Leapster 2 for Christmas last year. It was her first handheld video game system, and I thought something like a Nintendo DS was too expensive for a 5 yr. old., plus I wasn't sure if there were games for her age or how she would take care of it. (She had mentioned one last year because a friend of hers has one.) Well, in her letter to Santa this year, she is still asking for a DS. Now as a parent, it doesn't seem practical to spend that amount of money on another game system when the first one she has is only a year old. But as we all know, Santa loves to make wishes come true...lol
